3-Card Reading for U.G.

Two of Pentacles   The World   King of Wands                                        Page of Wands

U.G. has submitted the above cards for interpretation.  The first three cards are the “heart” of the reading and are read as a unit.  Then, the fourth card is drawn and read as a summary or clarifier.  Since there are no two-or-more-of-a kind suits or numbers, it is safe to say that this reading focuses on U.G.’s day-to-day life in the here-and-now.

The spotlight has been on the two of pentacles, the yes-but card.  It seems like U.G. has been trying to make up her/his mind between two choices/priorities/desires.  (S)he has been dancing around this issue for a while because by using the word “but,” (s)he has created a mutually exclusive reality where choosing one negates the other.  Only by creating an environment that supports both choices can (s)he stop dancing.  This is accomplished by changing the word “but” to the word “and.”  How wonderfully freeing to say, “I like my job, AND I’d like to earn more money” instead of, “I like my job, BUT I’d like to earn more money.”

The spotlight is now on the World, sometimes called the graduation card.  U.G. has done all the work, completed all the assignments, and has a “diploma” in each hand; now it is simply a question of where (s)he will choose to let this level of expertise play out.  U.G., you’ve got what it takes; now, where are you going to take it?  There are no wrong answers.

The spotlight is moving toward the king of wands, mastery of skills and talents.  This card indicates that U.G.’s abilities are at the highest level.  (S)he is recognized as an expert and is fully grounded in her/his efforts to do whatever it is (s)he does and do it well while unselfishly sharing the throne with others.

The summary card is the page of wands, which says that U.G. is on her/his way, having dedicated her/his skills and talents toward following the path to the best and highest.  If (s)he will remove the obstacle mentioned in the two of pentacles, her/his success is a sure thing.  Good luck, U.G..

Does this make sense?  I hope it was helpful.  For more information on using the tarot for insights and information, please see http://www.tarotforalltime.com   Thank you.
