3-Card Reading for N.M.

King of Pentacles   Four of Wands   The Lovers                                  Knight of Swords

N.M. has submitted the above cards for interpretation.  The first three cards are the “heart” of the reading and are read as a unit.  Then, the fourth card is drawn and read as a summary or clarifier.  Since there are no groups of three-of-a-kind suits or numbers, it is safe to say that this reading centers on N.M.’s everyday life and addresses a particular issue into which (s)he has requested insight.

The spotlight has been on the king of pentacles, mastery of integrity.  This card shows N.M. has reached the highest level of being in the world but not of it.  (S)he has perfected operating according to her/his values in a way that supports others and the greater good.  (S)he is known for being fair and generous and is often consulted for advice based on  her/his practical wisdom.  (S)he may be wealthy and have access to abundant resources.

The spotlight is now on the four of wands that says N.M.’s skills and talents are cause for celebration.  They are good enough, strong enough, and alive enough to provide a foundation and safety in the world beyond her/his immediate environment.  It is time to embellish those skills and build upon them.

The spotlight is moving toward the Lovers, the card that represents the Gift of Healing.  N.M. has the ability to help others heal themselves by providing the support, the guidance, and the tools for them to use.  Please notice that the connection in this card is through the angel; the lovers are not holding hands.  When the commitment from both parties is to the quality of the relationship, tremendous growth and freedom to expand and thrive are possible.

The summary card is the knight of swords, a possible condition that would prompt a request for a reading.  N.M. is scattering her/his energies and will soon be exhausted by the effort with minimal chances of making a difference.  It is time to pull back a bit , assess the situation, and plan some strategies for her/his next steps rather than expend all her/his energies in an unfocused reaction.  There are wonderful resources available at this time, and N.M. would be best served by inner contemplation rather than external action.  Good luck, N. M..

Dos this make sense?  I hope it was helpful.  For more information on using the tarot for insight and advice, please see http://www.tarotforalltime.com  Thank you.
