3-Card Reading for O.A.

Ace of Swords  Ten of Wands  Queen of Cups                                      Seven of Cups

O.A. has submitted the above cards for interpretation.  The first three cards are the “heart” of the reading and are read as a unit.  Then, the fourth card is drawn and read as a summary or clarifier.  Since two out of the first three cards are ones (10=1+0=1), it is safe to say that this reading focuses on leading, controlling, and directing the situation O.A. has requested insight into.

The spotlight has been on the ace of swords, a triumph overcoming conflict.  The advice of this card is to figure out what you want and go for it, temporarily ignoring everything and everyone else.  Once you have what you want, you can then spend some time focusing on others who may have felt pushed aside and/or ignored in the pursuit of this goal, but in the meantime, single-pointed determination is the key to reaching the goal.

The spotlight now is on the ten of wands, a card that urges discernment.  It is clear that O.A. is a multi-talented individual, and in this instance, this feels more like a burden than a blessing.  If all (s)he knew how to do was to put widget A in space B, her/his life would be much easier to handle, but (s)he can do so many things and do them all well.  The only sensible way to proceed is to select one or two skills and/or talents, bundle the rest, tuck the bundle under her/his arm, and allow the one or two selected to lead the way.  There will be opportunities to use more wands from the bundle as (s)he continues the journey, but for now, trying to use all of them at once puts her/him on overwhelm and slows her/his progress.

The spotlight is moving toward the queen of cups, blocked and/or repressed emotions.  Only by handling/exposing the feelings and emotions that O.A. considers “bad” and/or negative can (s)he move forward.  Remember that a person can only heal what (s)he is willing to feel.  By recognizing the feelings inside the cup and releasing them in a safe and sane manner, O.A. can restore the flow of healthy emotions.  Once again, I recommend the  work of Dr. Bradley Nelson in The Emotion Code, coupled with theta healing to release and resolve what has O.A. stuck.

The summary card is the seven of cups, the wish card, and it makes perfect sense that this card puts in an appearance in this position.  O.A., you MUST figure out what you want and go for it, knowing that there is nothing you cannot do, have, or be if you really want it enough.  There are no wrong choices here.  Whether it is power, wealth, wisdom, glory, knowledge, or anything else sitting in one of those cups, you have earned the right to have what you want if you choose to pursue it.  The only mistake you could make would be to make no choice because you on in overwhelm.  Also, please remember that you have the right to change your mind if the circumstances dictate.  Get rid of the blocks and go for it; you will succeed.

Does this make sense?  I hope it was helpful.  For more information on using tarot cards for insight and guidance, please see http://www.tarotforalltime.com  Thank you.
