T.T. has submitted the above cards for interpretation. The first three cards are the “heart” of the reading and are read as a unit. Then, the fourth card is drawn and read as a summary or clarifier. Since two out of the first three cards are queens, it is safe to say that this reading focuses on hesitation, reevaluation, self-doubt, questioning, and temporary insecurity, the qualities the queens represent in the moments before full manifestation and mastery.
The spotlight has been on the queen of cups, repressed and/or blocked feelings and emotions. T.T. has spent a lot of time exploring and mastering her/his feelings, emotions, relationships, and psychic abilities. (S)he is adept at handling most of these, but there is a group of them that (s)he has “kept a lid on,” has blocked and kept covered. These are invariably those that are classified as “negative,” the fears, envies, angers, and griefs. They are heavy enough that it takes two hands to hold the covered cup, and it is time to deal with them. There are many processes and therapies available to release these safely, and our favorite is The Emotion Code by Dr. Bradley Nelson. Once identified, Theta Healing is also our preferred way of resolving/releasing them. This card appears when the seeker is ready to do this. Not processing them leaves the seeker blocked and stuck.
The spotlight is now on the page of pentacles, beginning the journey of following your values. This is the moment of commitment and dedication to leave behind all the reasons why-not, all the excuses, all the distractions, and focus on your dream. T.T., you have taken the first steps and are re-affirming your chosen path. You are supporting your dream, the best and highest within you, calling back your own power, readying yourself for the journey ahead. You are on your way.
The spotlight is moving toward the queen of swords, the Butterfly Queen. Yes, T.T., when you were a caterpillar, life was much simpler, but you are now in a cocoon, not sure of what’s happening, who you are, or how this will turn out. It’s OK, you’re more than half- way through the process now, and you will emerge a butterfly.
The six of cups is the summary card, and it truly gives the underlying reason for T.T,’s asking for a reading on these cards. (S)he has been feeling unlovable for quite some time. This becomes strongly linked with a feeling of non-deserving, and T.T. has learned not to expect much, even when love is being offered. The advice of the card is to allow the awareness of the proffered gift, to take the gloves off, and to accept that even though the love, help, and support may be coming from a non-traditional place, it is valid and valuable. It is also another example of taking back one’s power to choose for oneself, even in the apparent rejection of the status quo. You are not alone, T.T..
