3-Card Reading for F.C.

F.C. has requested an interpretation of the above cards that were drawn according to the protocol of silently completing the sentence, “Please give me insight into __________.”  F.C. has not told me what (s)he has put into the blank space.  The first three cards are the “heart” of the reading and are read as a unit.  Then, the fourth card is drawn and read as a summary or clarifier.  Since all of the first three cards are threes, this is most certainly a reading about F.C.’s expression, the way her/his energy comes out and surrounds her/him, setting up a point of attraction by way of an identity.

The spotlight has been on the Knight of Swords, scattering one’s energies.  F.C., this is who you have been recently.  In response to a perceived threat, you have ridden off at top speed in all directions at once, trying to cover all the bases, and taking on the responsibility of handling the situation alone.  You will soon exhaust yourself, feel ineffective, and perhaps even sink into regret and remorse for not living up to anyone’s expectations, especially your own.  This card recommends that you wait a minute before throwing your whole self into a response, evaluate the situation and your own involvement in it from a calm and wise perspective, and plan some strategy for dealing with it.

The spotlight is now on the Empress, unlimited creativity. You possess the gift of being able to put things together in new and different ways.  Given the fact that this card follows the knight of swords, it certainly seems that you have a multitude of choices as to how to handle the situation that you asked about in this reading.  Believe in yourself as someone who has many ways to be part of the solution instead of part of the problem.

The spotlight is moving toward the Knight of Pentacles, one who has chosen to allow the light of her/his values to guide her/him as (s)he carries out the role of being a knight, and who now wonders, “Is this as good as it gets?”  The answer is a resounding, “NO!”  There is much more to the journey, and you, F.C., are being told this.  The situation you asked about in your quest for insight is merely a temporary stop along the journey.  Keep going.

The summary card is the Fool, a leap of faith.  Yes, F.C., the next logical step on your journey is to step off the cliff.  The universe has compiled all the supportive elements for the next phase of your journey, and you alone can trigger them into action by taking that first step.  Trust yourself and do it.  Once you step off the edge, the sleeves of your garment turn into wings, and you fly.  Good luck and blessings on your chosen path.

Does this make sense?  I hope it was helpful.  For more information about using tarot cards for insight and guidance, please see                 http://www.tarotforalltime.com                                                                              and consider purchasing the book Tarot for All Time, available in paperback, e-book, and downloadable PDF format.  Thank you.
